NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety

For those wishing to move into health and safety as a profession, the NEBOSH Diploma is an ideal qualification to achieve the level of knowledge required to become an occupation safety and health practitioner.

The new format, started in 2004, is approximately 18 months in duration and upon successful completion candidates will be able to use the designatory letters ‘DipNEBOSH’ after their name. The new Diploma will also provide the competency that is required for Graduate Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (GradIOSH).

Entry Requirements
The programme is divided into four units, namely managing health and safety, hazardous agents in the workplace and workplace / work equipment. The forth Unit is a work based assignment.
Candidates should preferably have completed the NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent relevant work experience.
