CKR1

Certification under the Gas Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) allows the heating engineer to register with Gas Safe Register as a competent person for installation and maintenance of gas appliances they have certification for.

The ACS assessment scheme covers a range of sectors within the downstream (after the mains incoming service valve to the property) Gas industry.

The CKR1 course covers the installation, commissioning, service and repair of domestic gas cookers.


Successful training and/or assessment only, will give the engineer the knowledge, understanding and competence to commission, service and repair domestic gas Cookers.

What You Will Learn
Entry Requirements
The training will cover all you need to, Install, commission, service and repair domestic gas cookers.
Initial Training and/or Assessment:
Current CCN1 Core Domestic Gas Safety certificate
Current CPA1 (this may be included in your CCN1)

Re- assessment:
You need to have held a previous CKR1 certificate which has not been expired for over 1 year.
