What You Will Learn
Entry Requirements
The Training and assessment is designed for experienced Gas and Plumbing engineers who need to certificate for gas safety competence in carrying out Liquefied Petroleum Gas work safely and commissioning appliances, e.g. tightness, ventilation and gas appliance chimneys (flues) in Leisure Activity Vehicles. It will also ensure that candidates can recognise, take action and remove dangerous and at risk situations.
Initial Training and/or Assessment: Candidate must hold current CCN1 Natural Gas, CONGLP1 fuel changer from natural gas to LPG and the relevant appliances HTR1 Fire, CKR1 Cooker, CEN1 Boiler and WAT1 Water Heater. Also you will need initial assessment if your previous certificate has been expired for more than 12 months. Re- assessment: You need to have held a previous LAV, which has not been expired for over 1 year.
