CCNSG Nationally Accredited Safety Passport

The aim of the Safety Passport Scheme is to ensure a basic knowledge of health and safety for all site personnel to enable them, after appropriate site introduction, to work on site more safely with lower risk to themselves and others.

The scheme, which results in the award of a Safety Passport to contractor site personnel, is monitored and controlled by a national steering group known as the Client/Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG).

The two day training programme covers four sessions:

Session 3 - Safe Systems of Work:

  • Lifting Operations

  • Maintenance
  • Isolation
  • Stored Energy
  • Manual Handling
Session 4 - Safety Problems and Safe Solutions:
  • Noise
  • Vibration
  • Hazardous Substances
  • Asbestos
  • Accident Reporting Criterias
  • First Aid
  • PPE
  • Welfare Environmental Considerations
The course is supplemented with specific videos and the learner is actively involved in exercises and completes an individual work book.
No formal entry requirements, however a good understanding of english would be advantageous.
