The Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management is a short flexible course that will provide the delegate with an introduction to a range of tested tools, methods and theories which a First Line Manager will find both practical and effective on a day to day basis. The programme can be taken as a stand alone course or as a lead in to the Level 3 Certificate (and which it contributes to), and which is also available from the Institute. The course is designed to enable positive changes in performance quickly and economically.
Practising managers will benefit from learning new skills and confirming current good practice. Potential /aspiring first line managers will gain much needed skills, knowledge and confidence in their new role and enable them to demonstrate achievement of a nationally recognised management qualification.

This course is designed to provide the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding to enable the delegate to improve their performance as a first line manager. To complete this award you will complete optional units to a value of 4 credits.

There are no formal entry requirements but participants will normally be practising or aspiring
first line managers with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands and have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme.
